Today I did some exploring around the house and found some fruits growing on the trees in our yard. I wanted to show you some of these pictures. The round green fruit is a papaya and we have two papaya trees and they bear fruit every three months. We will pick them when they start to turn red.

We also have some banana trees with some bananas growing on them. There bear fruit every three months here also.

I also took a picture of a cool grass hopper, and a picture of Corbin with his hair all crazy where one of daddy's youth put his hair up!

We finally made it to Namibia. It took a long time to get here. We left our home on a Monday and did not get to Africa until Wednesday. We got to ride on four airplanes. Dad said that most people only ride one or two when they travel. The plane rides were long and me, Hannah and Corbin slept on most of them. Dad said that was great.

We got to see snow when we stopped in Germany. It was really cold there. We had to stay in a hotel for a long time to wait for our next airplane ride. We even got to eat in a German restaurant. We had hot dogs, but they didn't look like hot dogs that we eat at home.

Then we got to Africa, dad said it was South Africa. Then it was hot. I was glad because I like to wear short sleeves and shorts. Mom said I will get to where them a lot in Africa. Me, Hannah and Corbin were really tired when we got to South Africa, and we had to walk a long ways to get to our next airplane. It took us 45 minutes to walk there dad said.

But then after the last plane ride we were in Namibia. It was even hotter there. And when we got off the plane we got to watch a cool thunderstorm. We got to ride in a van with all our luggage. Dad said he was happy that all our bags made it on the planes with us. I was too because our box of toys was on the plane too!

We stayed in the Capital for a week. It was a lot different from home. Cars drive on the wrong side of the road, most people walk instead of drive and the food is really different too. They do not have Pop Tarts here in Namibia.

Finally last week we got to our new home in Grootfontein. Dad says the town name means big fountain. We really like it here. There are lots of animals here, lizards, and bugs too that we have never seen before. Here are some pictures for you to look at.

Boy, the plane ride was fun at first, but not as fun as I thought it would be. Dad said this was a short plane ride and that we have three more plane rides and two of them are very long.

We are in the US capital now, Washington D.C. The plane ride was not fun because it was just like riding in a car, just in the air.

It was neat getting to fly through the clouds.

We got to eat at a restaurant in the airport, we ate buffalo burgers. Dad said we might get to eat neat things in Namibia also.

We are getting ready to fly to Germany. Dad said he is excited to eat German food when we get there. Plus it is supposed to snow also.

Thanksgiving And Other Fun

This Thanksgiving we took a long ride in the truck to our grandparents house in Philadelphia. That is where our mom's parents live at. We got to spend time with our great grandmothers as well.

It was a lot of fun, and daddy made some good food for Thanksgiving.

This year we have lots to be Thankful for.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins is the most important of all.

Mommy is feeling a lot better from her surgeries.

Daddy got his work permit for us to go to Namibia.

And daddy says that God has used lots of people to help us make ends meet with the money.

Here is What we have been up to!

First we have great news. My daddy got his work permit approved to go to Africa! Cameron understands what we are getting ready to do, but Hannah and Corbin have no clue. Cameron is really excited and wants to learn how to play cricket when we get there.

So we are getting ready to pack. Dad says we can only take a few toys since we can't drive to where we are going to live, and we can't get them all on the plane. We can't wait to fly in the air plane. Dad says it is a really big plane and we will be on it for a long time. We actually get to ride on two air planes to get there.

We have been having a lot of fun the last few months. Here are some pictures of what we have been doing.

We had hoped to be in Africa by now, but Dad says God has a few more things for us to do here before we go. Mommy had a bad boo boo that doctors had to fix and she has been getting better.

We have had fun at our grandparents house and doing some fun things while we have been here though.

Cameron has even helped daddy at his farm stand alot also. He likes to help him set the peaches in baskets, the cherries in trays, and putting the corn out for people to come any buy. He really likes it when he finds a worm to play with!

Cameron is also doing well in his home school work. He is beginning to read some,and so much more! Cameron also loves bugs! He catches a lot of grass hoppers and crickets all day long, not to mention the frogs who like to eat the grass hoppers and crickets.

Hannah continues to be all girl! She loves pink, and everything must be pink! She is excited about being the flower girl in her Uncle Jason's wedding in a couple of weeks!

Corbin, or the "Fury" as his Uncle Justin calls him, is growing by leaps and bounds. He loves to aggravate his brother and sister. He is starting to talk more now and loves to help mommy around the house. His favorite jobs are unloading the grocery bags, and doing the laundry.

Since we have moved to our new house, we have been doing a lot of fun things. Here are some of the pictures of us having fun!

Dad took me fishing at the lake near us. We had fun!

I caught my first fish and we also caught a turtle!

This is the dirt road that goes by our house. We can walk up to watch the train go by every day.

A picture I took of my sister Hannah, she looks like a movie star!

We went to a festival in Creedmoor, and rode around in some barrels that looked like air planes.

Today I turned 5 years old! I was excited about today. Mom and Dad took me to a place where they had huge jumping jungles to play in, I got to sit in a big fire truck and we had cake and ice cream also. I had a lot of fun!

Our New House

Well, we have moved again, and some people wanted to see a picture of our new house. We love our little house. It has a cool sidewalk for us to ride my bike on, and a big back yard to play soccer in.

Here is a picture of the house and also our friends Katie and David Hayward and their son Jacob. They are missionaries like us going to Africa, and they stopped by to spend the night with us a week ago. We had a lot of fun. You can pray for them also, because they are going to Africa to tell people about Jesus just like us!

Dad cut my HAIR!

OK, so my dad likes to cut his own hair, so to save money he cut my hair today. I don't like it that short and when I look in the mirror I do not look like myself anymore.

But my dad said it saves money and will keep my head from getting as hot in Africa.

Here is the cake I helped my mema (Grandma Joyce) make us for Easter.

Dad built a fire at our missionary house and we roasted hot dogs on the fire and he played his guitar and we sang songs.
